Spokesman Ronen Manelis of the Israel Defense Forces said, Thursday morning, Hamas is behaving the way it does because it is terrified of war with Israel.
Interviewed by IDF Radio, Manelis said, "It has failed time after time in its terror attacks, tunnels, rockets and terrorist attacks, and is paying a heavy price in dead and wounded. This terror is a challenge, but as an army we have faced more difficult and complex challenges."
