Arieh Shomer, a former director-general of the President's Residence, denied a Yisrael Hayom report stating that Netanyahu decided against holding early elections due to indications that President Reuven Rivlin wouldn't let him form the next government even if the Likud won.
"President Reuven Rivlin will not dare stand against the will of the public if the Likud gets 40 seats and elect another person to form the government instead of the head of the largest party - it won't be," Shomer told 103FM.
