Former MK Moshe Feiglin (Zehut) says that the office of the presidency should be "abolished" following a report that President Rivlin won't let Prime Minister Netanyahu form the next government in case of a Likud electoral victory.
"The institution of the presidency has to be abolished," Feiglin said. "The presidency has become a political actor, and unlike the past, the president is now appointed from the political world by politicians and on political grounds, so he does not unite the people but deepens the schism."
