Mossad intelligence chief Yossi Cohen addressed a seminar held for the Finance Ministry's Budget Division on Monday, according to Channel 10 Television. Cohen said an American colleague recently asked him "What will happen if Iran is defeated?" Cohen continued, "I replied that if we defeated Iran, I might remain without work, but if Iran is not defeated - I could be without a home."

Cohen praised United States President Donald Trump, who withdrew from the nuclear deal with Iran and recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, saying "There is no doubt that Trump's entry into the White House benefited Israel and clearly distinguished between the good and the bad." He added that "the handling of various powers in various places in the Middle East has also changed for the better."
