A new ambulance has been dedicated in memory of Rabbi Raziel Shevach, who was murdered in a January shooting attack near Havat Gilad and in memory of Talia Mizrahi, who died on the same day.
Samaria Regional Council Chairman Yossi Dagan told those present that the inauguration of the ambulance was to have taken place two weeks ago but was postponed because of the shooting attack in the Barkan industrial zone. He added, "Since that day, the ambulance has been able to leave for six life-saving trips in Samaria, and we will continue to build and save lives." Rabbi Shevach's father said he was very moved by the ceremony and expressed the hope that the ambulance would only be used to transport women in labor.
