Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Haim Katz underwent a pre-indictment hearing on Sunday related to his ties with investor Mordechai Ben Ari, according to Channel 10 Television.
Attorneys for Katz said following his hearing, "We have brought our arguments before the Attorney General, the State Attorney and other senior officials, according to which there is no legal and factual basis to bring Minister Katz to trial. We claimed that Motti Ben-Ari was a close friend of the minister and that their relationship was not based on interests."
