Chairman of Yaakov Litzman of the haredi-religious United Torah Judaism Party hinted on Thursday that if a law regulating haredi induction into the Israel Defense Forces is passed despite the opposition of the haredi parties, his Degel Hatorah faction is likely to resign from the coalition.
The deputy health minister told IDF Radio, "We will vote against it and if the legislation is approved, we will receive instructions from the Council of Torah Sages what to do next."
