The Jerusalem District Court has rejected the Jerusalem District Attorney's Office appeal against the Jerusalem Magistrates Court's acquittal of Rabbi Shalom Dov Wolpe and Rabbi Shabtai Weintraub 10 months ago on charges of supporting soldiers who refused to expel Jews and paying them hundreds of thousands of shekels to sit in military prison.

In response to the rejection of the appeal, the rabbis said that this is a "historic victory over the State Prosecutor's Office, whose goal is to harass the right-wingers and try to shut their mouths. Our activities for the Land of Israel and its entirety will continue without fear from the Left and we will do everything for the security of Israel."
