Member of Knesset Yoav Kisch (Likud) is promoting an amendment to an administrative-release bill that will exclude security prisoners and prohibit their early release.

Kisch says, "The government's draft law for administrative release, which stipulates early release due to overcrowding in the prisons, is absolutely necessary, but I will not bring it [the process] to its conclusion before I make sure that no terrorist or security prisoner is released through it." He added, "Anyone who thinks that I will allow the exploitation of such a law to reduce the density of an Israeli prison so that terrorists will be released even a day early is wrong. I will not let that happen."
