Karin Kneissl, the Austrian Foreign Minister who represents the Freedom Party, said on Monday on her Twitter account that she held an "informal conversation" with Minister Yoav Galant at the UfM Regional Forum.
The Israeli government had previously decided not to maintain contacts with representatives of the Austrian Freedom Party.
