Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman said, Tuesday, "I think that since 1967, there has not been as much readiness and fitness as there is today for the IDF."
Interviewed by Yediot Ahronot regarding Military Ombudsman Yitzhak Brick's critical report on Israel's land forces, Liberman said, "As someone who knows well, we are at the height of readiness since the Six Day War. It's not that there are no problems. Overall it's a huge machine with hundreds of thousands of soldiers and tens of thousands of different tools from airplanes to armored personnel carriers and sniper rifles."
