The Movement for Quality Government sent a letter to Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman today, calling for the establishment of a government committee to examine the claims made by the Israel Defense Forces' Ombudsman regarding deficiencies in IDF preparedness for war.
A statement from the movement said, "On the assumption that it is difficult for the system to examine itself, it is necessary to set up an external commission of inquiry that will be able to conduct a deep and meaningful investigation that will not hesitate to bring the truth to light and expose flaws and failures in the preparedness of the system for war."
