The Admor of Amshinov, Rabbi Yaakov Aryeh Milikovsky, has been hospitalized at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem after a cardiac event during the holiday.
After consultation with the doctors, the rebbe underwent a successful catheterization and is expected to remain in the hospital in the coming days for rest and recuperation. His followers say that despite his advanced age, on Yom Kippur, the Admor fasted for hours beyond what is normal, and this may have increased his exhaustion.
