The High Follow-Up Committee delegation to the United Nations headquarters in Geneva on Thursday met with the President of the UN Human Rights Council and the United Nations High Commissioner for National Minorities.
The members of the delegation asked the two senior UN officials to promote the handling of the complaint filed against the National Law.
The delegation also met with the Secretary General of the Union of Parliaments International, Martin Wollongong, and requested that the EU examine the complaint against the national law legislation's '' racist and discriminatory 'Committee which contradicts the principles of international law, and look at the complaint filed by the Joint List Party regarding restrictions on the political activity of Arab Knesset members."
