Minister of Public Security Gilad Erdan ordered the establishment of a monitoring and implementation committee to monitor and examine the procedure for receiving and renewing a firearms license.
This is in addition to the expansion of the criteria for holding licensed firearms and upgrading the qualification process, and the training of applicants and holders of arms licenses.
