Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon have interviewed Professor Amir Yaron of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania for thee position of Governor of the Bank of Israel to succeed outgoing Governor Karnit Flug.
Other candidates interviewed in the past few weeks include Professors Ben-Zion Zilberfarb, Efraim Sadka and Mario Blejer.
