Defense Minister and chairman of the Yisrael Beyteynu Party, Avigdor Liberman responded Tuesday to a report in the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper that he would open a path that would enable the commutation of the sentences of terrorists sentenced to life imprisonment in the military courts in Judea and Samaria and made it clear that he would not allow its implementation.
"As long as I am the defense minister, no terrorist will get a shorter sentence, even one hour," Lieberman wrote on his Twitter account.
