Spokesman Ronen Manelis of the Israel Defense Forces has appointed an advisory committee on the working interface between the IDF Spokesperson's Division and the correspondents covering military matters to formulate recommendations on the criteria by which the IDF Spokesperson would provide a response to the media and reporters covering military matters.
The committee will be headed by retired Judge Ayala Procaccia. and its members will be retired general Yossi Baidatz, journalist Dan Margalit, Dr. Tehila Schwartz Altshuler and former Defense Ministry spokesman Ofer Harel. The committee is expected to submit its recommendations to the IDF Spokesperson within six months.
