Jerusalem mayoral candidate Ofer Berkovitch called on authorities to probe fellow candidate Jerusalem Affairs Minister Zeev Elkin (Likud).
According to reports, Elkin's ministry had sponsored Hadashot's annual conference in Jerusalem to the tune of NIS 700,000 in exchange for allowing Elkin to speak at the event, which Berkovitch says is an illegal campaign contribution.
