A senior Palestinian Authority official told media sources that the Palestinian Authority had recently decided to sever contacts with UN envoy to the Middle East, Nikolay Mladenov.
The official said that at this stage, the leadership decided not to cooperate with him, reportedly due to claims that the emissary exceeded his authority when he worked to encourage the talks between Hamas and Israel.
