Mexican Economy Minister Ildefonso Gerardo expressed hope that the United States and Canada would reach an understanding on the renewed trade agreement between the three countries by Friday.
"I hope there will be an agreement," the minister said. Representatives from the United States and Canada are expected to meet on Wednesday to discuss the issue.
