Chairman of the Economics Committee, MK Eitan Cabel (Zionist Union), called on the police to grant an additional extension for the payment of speeding tickets.
"In a week's time, the payment period for extended traffic tickets based on traffic camera footage will arrive- immediately instruct the public on what to do and announce an additional extension for the payment of the tickets until the study on the reliability of the cameras is completed," Cabel wrote.
Cabel noted that almost three months have passed since a report on the problems with traffic cameras was published and the police have yet to issue any comment or notice on the subject.
