Ynet reports that Druze spiritual leader, Sheikh Mowafaq Tarif, has denied a report that the Syrian Druze community asked Israel's Druze to request that Israel intervene in Syria's civil war, at a secret meeting in Jordan.
The Shiekh did say that they have asked Israel to exert pressure on Russia, the US, and any other involved parties to work to release kidnapped Druze soldier and to take into account the situation of the Druze in the war-torn country.
