Chief of Staff of the IDF, Lt. Gen. Gadi Eizenkot announced that Lt. Col. Eyal Pesco will be appointed as the new commander of the Kirya base; he will also be promoted to the rank of full colonel.
The appointment is contingent on the approval of Defense Minister Avigdor Leiberman.
