A man about the age of 30 has been pronounced dead at Assuta Hospital in Ashdod, after drowning on Sunday at an Ashdod beach. A Magen David Adom medic who treated him before evacuating him to the hospital said he took over from a lifeguard who said the victim lost consciousness in the water while saving a 23-year-old woman and her partner from drowning. The partner was hospitalized in light condition.
