An Israeli official has confirmed that Egyptian Intelligence Chief Abbas Kamal visited Israel in the past 24 hours.
Kamal met with senior defense establishment officials including National Security Advisor Meir Ben Shabat and Director Nadav Argaman of the Shabak Israel Security Agency.
