The Health Ministry has published the results of tests carried out in the Golan Heights streams suspected of being infected with leptospirosis (Achberet in Hebrew because it is carried by rodents).
The Zaki stream received a result that was 11 times higher than the standard for E. coli bacteria, and in the Yehudiya, Meshushit and Zavitan streams, significant deviations were recorded.
