Inspectors of the Plant Protection and Inspection Services of the Ministry of Agriculture at Ben-Gurion Airport discovered that 40 etrogs of an elite brand valued at thousands of shekels, were placed in a suitcase.
The owner of the suitcase, a resident of Ashdod in her 40s, flew from Barcelona and declared her baggage missing. The suitcase that arrived a few days later and underwent a screening test whereupon the smuggled etrogs were found.
