The Israel Defense Forces have arrested four Arabs suspected of setting a fire near Bat Ayin in the Gush Etzion bloc of Judean Jewish communities.
Following the arrest, a violent riot broke out in the Palestinian Authority village of Beit Ummar, during which rioters threw stones, firebombs, an improvised explosive device, fireworks and and burning tires at the force. The force retaliated by firing into the air and used measures for dispersing demonstrations. There were no casualties.
