The Israel Defense Forces have ordered the cancellation of hot-air balloon festivals at the Eshkol Park and the Habesor Park in the Merhavim Council Region due to the security situation in the Gaza area.
Yediot Ahronot reports 4,000 tickets had been sold for the traditional Eshkol Park event.
