The Union of Hesder Yeshivas denied reports that yeshiva students serving in the IDF had swiveled their backs as so not to see a female parachuting instructor.
"The union found that, contrary to the reports, the commanders of the soldiers on the ground were the ones who put the soldiers in formation with their back to the instructor, and that was the way the yeshiva students acted in accordance with the explicit instructions of the commanders," it said.
