Ten extremists from the haredi Peleg Yerushalmi Jerusalem Faction were arrested, Monday afternoon, during a protest at the corner of Jabotinsky and Hashomer in Bnei Brak against the arrest of a yeshiva student who is being held in a military prison after not showing up to start the induction process for the Israel Defense Forces.
The demonstrators clashed with police and Border Guards who prevented them from going onto the street and blocking it. The detainees were the ones who managed to block the road for a few minutes until they were taken away. Due to the demonstration, many traffic jams are being felt and eastbound Jabotinsky is blocked from Ben Gurion Street to the Geha Interchange of Highway 4.
