At the request of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Regional Cooperation Minister Tzachi Hanegbi will represent Israel in the inauguration of Colombian President Iván Duque on Tuesday.
Netanyahu canceled his participation in light of the situation in the south and efforts for a cease-fire with Hamas. Minister Hanegbi will hold meetings with Latin American leaders participating in the ceremony, with whom the prime minister was scheduled to meet.
