A bipartisan group of Senators introduced a new bill that sanctions Russia for alleged meddling in US elections and for the Kremlin's policy in Syria and the Crimean peninsula.
“The current sanctions regime has failed to deter Russia from meddling in the upcoming 2018 midterm elections,” said Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, a fierce critic of Moscow.
