The police arrested a prison guard serving in the Israel Prison Service on Wednesday, allegedly in possession of a material suspected of being a drug.
According to the suspicions, the jailer intended to transfer the drugs to prisoners serving life sentences at the Rimonim Prison at their request. He will be brought to the Magistrates Court in Rishon Lezion this morning to extend his remand.
