Chairman of the secular Yesh Atid Party, Yair Lapid said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should have chosen "another way" to pass the nationality law "without insulting anyone."
"80-90 Knesset members support the definition of Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people without harming the Druze fighters and without conflicts and divisions within us, but something happened to Netanyahu," Lapid added.
