Azzam Azzam, a Druze-Israeli who was previously imprisoned in Egypt on charges of spying for Israel, criticized the nationality law this morning on Israel Army Radio, claiming that the legislation "driscriminates against us."
Addressing Druze-Israeli Minister of Communications, Ayoub Kara (Likud), Azzam said, "you were a Druze when you were born and a Druze when you die."
"I will not abandon my community for a role - a role that will come and go," he continued.
