Yesh Atid chairman MK Yair Lapid responded on Monday to a television report about a deal between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and the haredi parties that enabled the passage of the Nationality Law in exchange for the watering down of the Draft Law.
"In light of Gafni's disclosure of the deal with Netanyahu - changes in the Draft Law in exchangr for support for the Nationality Law - it appears that Netanyahu sold the Jewish soldiers to the haredim only so that he could sell the Druze soldiers. I expect Minister Liberman to stand true to his word and not allow a single word to be changed in the Draft Law," tweeted Lapid.
