The Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation reports Member of Knesset Saleh Saad (Zionist Union) has responded to a word of a quid pro quo between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and haredi parties on the Nationality Law by saying, "Netanyahu is showing his true face - he sells the Druze to the ultra-Orthodox. Harms the Druze who are serving through the Nationality Law, and in return grants the haredim a mass exemption from enlistment."
Saad concluded, "Israel does not need a policy of divide and rule, but rather a strong, solid and egalitarian society."
