Chairman Ayman Odeh of the Joint List of predominantly Arab parties visited Ahed Tamimi on Monday, a day after the Samarian activist was released upon completing a sentence for slapping Israeli soldiers.
Writing in Hebrew on Twitter, Odeh said, "The prison did not break her spirit. Only 17 years old and perhaps because of that - she has already become a symbol. No child should grow up under occupation. Ahed understands this and is more determined than ever to continue fighting for the liberation of her people."
