Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman met with top officials in the IDF and the Israel Security Agency on Sunday for an update on the current security situation in the Gaza region.
"The defense minister insisted on the readiness of IDF forces along the border with Gaza and on the need to be prepared for every scenario, in accordance with the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the conduct of Hamas," said a readout about the meeting.
