An Egyptian court on Saturday said it would transfer the cases of 75 suspected of security-related offenses, including senior officials from the Muslim Brotherhood, to the country's Grand Mufti.
The group is among hundreds convicted in 2013 of supporting former President Mohammed Morsi.
Those whose execution is not approved by the Grand Mufti may face life in prison.
