The Likud party contended that it has the right to purge left-wing members of the 'New Likudnicks' faction from its voter rolls despite a court ruling forbidding them from doing so on Wednesday. "All the positions presented by the Likud were accepted during the discussion, and the Likud director will be authorized to stop a person's membership when she believes that he acted for illegal or unconstitutional motives," said Likud official Avi Halevi.
