Israeli Minister of Social Equality, Gila Gamliel (Likud) said that Israel's downing of a Syrian plane that entered Israeli airspace sent a clear message to the "evil triangle" of Iran, Syria and Hezbollah.
"The downfall of the Syrian plane on the Israeli border was a clear message to the evil triangle of Syria, Iran and Hezbollah that IDF will respond firmly to any attempt to harm Israeli sovereignty or violate the separation arrangements (of 1974)," Gamliel said.
The minister made her remarks at a campaign event for a fellow member of Likud running to be mayor of Jerusalem, Yerucham Nili Aharon.
