Workers of the Kamada pharmaceutical company from Kibbutz Beit Kama began a general strike, during which the plant's work was completely shut down.
The strike began following a labor dispute declared at the company in early July. The background to the conflict lies in a deadlock and foot-dragging in the negotiations for a new collective agreement that will regulate the terms of employment of more than 300 factory workers.
