The Central District Court in Lod has issued a life sentence for Yussef Kamil and Muhammad Abu Al-Roub, who were convicted of the murder of Reuven Shmerling on the eve of Sukkot in Kafr Qasem. In addition, the judges ruled that each of the convicted murderers would pay Shmerling's family compensation in the amount of NIS 258,000.
