An Arab from Qalandiya was arrested last Sunday and transferred to Ofer Prison for attempting to enter Israel while pretending to be someone else.
Intelligence information led investigators from the detective unit of the Israel Prison Service to seize two cell phones that he had hidden inside his body in order to sell inside the prison at a price of NIS 15,000 per device. The IPS noted "This is not the first time that terrorist elements have brought themselves to arrest for minor offenses with the aim of smuggling prohibited means into security prisons."
