A solution has been reached in the budgetary dispute over the completion of the Rantis and Al-Luban bypass road in Samaria, according to Yisrael Hayom.
In November 2017, the prime minister promised to transfer a budget to complete the road, but the budget was not transferred because the Finance Ministry allocated 76 million shekels to complete the road, while the Defense Ministry demanded NIS 87 million. The Treasury recently transferred the necessary amount, after the Construction and Housing Ministry agreed to budget some of the work. The Ministry of Defense will soon start its planning work, and it is estimated that the work in the area will begin toward the end of the year.
