The lawyer for a Turkish woman who was charged last month with aiding Hamas told Reuters on Monday that an appeals court ordered her released and she returned to Turkey on Sunday.
Ebru Ozkan was charged with helping smuggling money and packages to Hamas. Her lawyer said last Sunday's indictment by a military court "still stands, but I think that will be canceled too.”
