The spiritual leader of Israel's Druze community, Sheikh Muafak Tarif, has expressed his opposition to the current version of the proposed nationality law, contending that the current version "excludes us."
"The State of Israel is our home and our homeland, we fought together with our Jewish brothers," he said in an interview with Reshet Bet. "(But) The proposed law does not relate to the Druze community and excludes us."
